FDM

Frequency Division Multiplexing. Technology that converts data signals to low speed and narrow bandwith, divides the signals and then transmits them on several parallel frequencies. The time duration of a signal transmitted along one frequency can be significantly longer than the delay encountered during multipath transmission. Consequently, FDM has the advantage of alleviating the adverse effect of multi-path transmission.
